Job summary
There has never been a more exciting time to join Homes England’s Affordable Housing team. Following the recent Spending Review, a £39bn, 10-year Social and Affordable Homes Programme is now underway—creating a significant opportunity to shape housing delivery at scale.
As a Reporting Manager, you will play an important role in providing accurate, consistent and timely regional performance reporting that supports effective decision making across our Affordable Homes programmes. You will analyse complex data from multiple sources turning it into meaningful insight for a range of audiences, working proactively to identify trends, risk and opportunities in our performance reporting, and supporting findings with accurate modelling that can presented to a range of stakeholders.

- We are looking for individuals who are motivated, with attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. You will turn data and analysis into actionable insights and are comfortable presenting clearly to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including those with non-technical backgrounds.
- You will also have strong stakeholder skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, building relationships and adapting well to changing priorities.
- It is essential that you have experience working with large and complex data sets and are skilled at using visualisation tools such as Power BI to produce reporting that can support decision making. You will be comfortable combining data from multiple sources to develop forecasting and modelling, as well as being able to proactively work to understand data request requirements to produce high quality responses.
Job description
Working closely with a Senior Reporting Manager, you’ll work within in a team playing a key role in shaping and developing performance reporting, ensuring that colleagues have access to vital information that will help drive the programme forward as well as provide oversight of the delivery of the programme. You will also work to drive continuous improvement within our reporting processes and systems, identifying where data accuracy can be improved, escalating potential issues to ensure that we maintain high-quality data.
You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across Homes England to bring together key insights from a variety of sources for input into analysis, producing clear, evidence-based reporting and insights.
