1. Who we are and how to contact us
CS Interview Coach is operated by CS Interview Coach, a sole trader registered in England and Wales.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
CS Interview Coach is an AI-powered interview preparation tool for people applying to UK Civil Service roles. It provides:
- AI-scored mock interview practice aligned to the Civil Service Behaviours framework
- Written feedback and coaching notes generated by the Claude AI (Anthropic)
- A question bank covering all Civil Service Behaviours across grade levels
- Downloadable revision guides and resources
The service is a preparation tool only. See Section 10 (Limitation of liability) for important information about what we do and do not guarantee.
3. Plans and pricing
Free plan
Available to all registered users at no cost. The Free plan provides limited access to the question bank and a restricted number of AI-scored practice sessions per month. Features available on the Free plan may change at any time.
Interview Sprint — £24.99 per month (recurring subscription)
Provides full access to all features, unlimited AI-scored sessions, the complete question bank, and all downloadable guides for as long as your subscription is active.
- Billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- Automatically renews each month unless cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you retain access until the end of the billing period already paid for. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the current period.
Lifetime — £99.99 (one-time payment)
A single payment grants permanent access to all features and all future updates to the service for as long as CS Interview Coach operates.
- Access is granted immediately upon successful payment.
- Cooling-off waiver: At checkout, before payment is processed, you will be asked to confirm that you are requesting immediate access to digital content and that you understand this means you waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3134). By ticking the confirmation checkbox and completing payment, you give this consent expressly. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the event of a faulty or misdescribed service.

All prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT (if VAT-registered) or exclusive if not registered. Our current VAT registration status is indicated at checkout.
4. Billing and payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend access to paid features until payment is successful. We will notify you of payment failures by email.
Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect, giving you the opportunity to cancel before being charged the new amount.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or harvest content — use automated tools to extract questions, answers, feedback, or any other content from the service.
- Share account access — share your login credentials or grant access to your account to any other person. Each account is for a single individual only.
- Abuse AI features — submit inputs designed to circumvent, manipulate, or degrade the AI scoring system; attempt to extract training data or model weights; or use the AI in any way that violates Anthropic's usage policies.
- Resell or redistribute — resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content or outputs from the service without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer — attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service.
- Violate any law — use the service in any way that breaches applicable laws, including those relating to data protection, intellectual property, or fraud.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without refund.
6. Intellectual property
All content on CS Interview Coach — including the software, question bank, guides, scoring rubrics, and UI — is owned by or licensed to CS Interview Coach. You may use it solely for your own personal interview preparation.
The Civil Service Behaviours framework is Crown Copyright and is used here for educational purposes under the terms of the Open Government Licence v3.0. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HM Government, the Cabinet Office, or HM Civil Service.
AI-generated feedback produced during your sessions is provided to you for personal use only and may not be republished or sold.
7. Refunds
See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary:
- Interview Sprint: no pro-rata refunds; cancel any time to stop future renewals.
- Lifetime: all sales are final once immediate access has been accepted at checkout, except where required by law.
- We will always refund duplicate charges, billing errors, and cases where the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies.
8. Termination
By you: You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing customerservice@csinterviewcoach.com. Closing your account cancels any active subscription from the next renewal date.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, or with reasonable notice if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service and you hold a Lifetime plan, we will endeavour to provide at least 90 days' notice and consider a proportionate refund at our discretion.
9. Service availability
We do not offer any service level agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee. We will endeavour to keep the service available but it may be unavailable for maintenance, technical failures, or circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime.
10. Limitation of liability
No guarantee of interview success or job outcome. CS Interview Coach is a preparation tool only. We make no representation or warranty that use of the service will result in a successful interview, a job offer, or any particular outcome. Interview success depends on many factors outside our control.
AI-generated feedback is produced by a language model and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. It should be used as guidance only and not treated as definitive assessment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or £99.99 for Lifetime purchasers).
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data. By using the service you acknowledge that your answer text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI scoring.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide for local jurisdiction.
