Incinerator Maintenance Supervisor

The Incinerator Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and preventing reoccurring issues with the plant and when required engaging with the Incinerator Maintenance provider, providing accurate and clear explanations of faults to ensure operational continuity.

You will work independently with minimal supervision applying engineering knowledge to identify root causes of faults. The role involves undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks as well as managing the critical spares store.

Updating the maintenance records on the Elecosoft SHIRE database will be a key component of the role, as well as preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Maintenance Manager.

Mostly office based, this role requires a high level of flexibility as there is an element of heavy engineering, mechanical manual work using tools and equipment which may sometimes involve unsociable hours.

The majority of your time will be devoted to inputting records and analysing maintenance data within the Elecosoft SHIRE system. You will leading the management of critical spares and parts ensuring value for money and operational resilience.

You will also plan and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to optimise reliability and performance.

Essential:

• GCSEs or equivalent including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above.
• Driving licence.
• Minimum NVQ level 3 in engineering skills or completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
