You will ensure that capital funding is targeted effectively, delivering value for money, improving the condition and resilience of the estate, and creating modern environments that support the delivery of justice for court and tribunal users across the United Kingdom.

- Lead the Capital Investment function, providing strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary team of approximately 40 professionals and fostering a high-performing, inclusive and delivery-focused culture.

- Drive the strategic renewal and transformation of the HMCTS estate, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term priorities, addressing the maintenance backlog, and supporting delivery of the HMCTS Estates Strategy.
- Provide robust governance, assurance and financial stewardship, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and commercial obligations and maintaining effective oversight of risk, performance and investment outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including the judiciary, HMCTS operational leaders, Ministry of Justice colleagues, HM Treasury and other partners, securing alignment on investment priorities and enabling successful programme delivery.
