Job summary
We have a great opportunity for a Business Support Executive to join us and work within our Workplace and Business Services. You will undertake support activities for key operational contracts and support the day-to-day management and performance monitoring of critical Facilities Management services and contracts.
In this role, if you haven’t already completed the Government Commercial Function – Contract Management Foundation Course, we will support you through this.
We have 2 Permanent roles and 2 Temporary roles for 6 months with the possibility of being made permanent.

- Desirable Experience:
- Experience of working in a commercial/contract management environment
- Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. This will not be tested in the application or interview process.
- HMLR expect everyone to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office.

Job description
In this role you will actively engage in continuous improvement activities, for both the team and suppliers and become involved in aspects of work within the group including but not limited to Contract Management, Statutory Compliance, Environmental Sustainability, Estate Management and budgeting/financial management.
In addition, the role holder may be required to undertake line management duties and coach and develop their staff.

Sift

Interview
If successful at shortlisting stage, you will be invited to attend a virtual, blended interview. The blended interview will test the essential experience and behaviours listed in the Job Description, as well as the strengths associated with the role, details will be provided on invitation to interview.
