The Enterprise and Growth Unit has a varied and exciting agenda and we work closely with a wide variety of other teams across the Treasury.
We also work alongside other departments and government organisations to ensure that we are thinking creatively, spending wisely, and acting boldly to deliver these goals. These organisations are:

The Business, Trade, and Culture team is a flexible and friendly team of around 20 staff that sits across HMT’s economics ministry functions (promoting sustainable economic growth) and its finance ministry functions (spending control for government departments). - Executing set-piece events where business engagement is the core focus.
- Supporting strategic partnerships, including efforts in HMT to co-design policy initiatives with external stakeholders.
- Providing advice to Ministers, Special Advisers, and senior officials on opportunities for stakeholder engagement and public-private collaboration.

In certain circumstances, for example if you have been working abroad on a government posting, a lack of residency would not be a bar to security clearance however the Department will need to consider eligibility on a case-by-case basis once the advert closing date has passed.
