In this hands-on role, you’ll support the provision of General Munitions (GM) and Complex Weapons (CW), helping ensure the Armed Forces are equipped and ready for operations. With full training and support, you’ll manage the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issue of munitions and equipment from both the MoD and industry partners.

You’ll develop expertise in logistics systems (Log IS) and adopt a flexible, multi-skilled approach to wider depot operations, working in line with departmental policies. The work may be conducted in an unusually difficult or hazardous environment, including working outside in poor inclement weather conditions, working at heights or in confined spaces.

Please note the following:

Applicants must be over 18 years old to apply, due to the Explosive Handling Regulations.

A full medical check is required before taking up the post, and the job offer will be contingent on its outcome.

This role is 100% site based at the Sennybridge Training Area which is situated 6 miles from the LD3 8PN postcode, in a remote area with no public transport options. It is full time, working 37 hours a week. The usual hours are 8:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 8:00 – 15:30 on Friday. There will also be some travel required to the DM Kineton site, for training.

Reporting to the WOME Logistics and General Munitions Manager, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence within a high-impact team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Adopting a multi-skilled philosophy and approach in supporting wider depot operations and activities in accordance with local and departmental policy and procedures.
  • Become familiar with and adhering to all Risk Assessments relevant to the task.
