Job summary

Can you drive customer-centric solutions that deliver organisational value?

Could you shape the direction of our future in an environment that really matters?

You’ll be part of a new team of diverse product managers embarking on a new and exciting career pathway in a fast paced and evolving profession.

You will manage a product portfolio of significant value or complexity, leading Product Managers, Associate Product Managers and their own Product Teams. You will be accountable for ensuring the products in your area deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and viable results for the organisation.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will align product strategies with organisational priorities, ensuring teams work in step towards shared goals. You will create clarity by sequencing investment and resolving trade-offs. You may lead a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers or hold responsibility for a single product of significant complexity or organisational importance. In either case, you will build product capability in those around you, coaching and developing the product managers you work with.

You will champion innovation, enabling teams to experiment and explore new approaches while staying anchored to customer value and organisational viability. You will balance your portfolio, weighing near-term delivery against longer-term opportunities and managing the mix of innovation and sustainability.

You’ll gain a unique perspective of our business, working closely with a broad range of teams to proactively enable the delivery of our organisation’s vision.

What they’re looking for

  • More about you
  • To apply for this role, you will already have:
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience of working as a product manager, owning product direction and outcomes.
  • A strong record of working closely with customers, keeping their problems and needs at the centre of product decisions.
  • A proven track record of managing a portfolio, or a single complex product, of significant value or complexity.
  • Experience of setting product strategy and making deliberate trade-offs that align teams around shared outcomes.
  • A record of using discovery and evidence to influence strategy and investment decisions.
  • It would be beneficial if you also have one of the following (although these are not essential):
  • A track record of building product capability in others, through coaching, mentoring, or developing product managers around them.
  • Experience of operating credibly with senior leaders, influencing decisions with evidence rather than advocacy.
  • A breadth of product experience across different products, domains, or contexts, bringing perspective that strengthens judgement and trade-offs.
  • Your personal skills
  • You will be someone who:
  • Displays behaviours that promote a collaborative working environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Is effective at engaging constructively and respectfully, challenging, influencing, and learning from a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Represents product direction with confidence in leadership discussions, bringing forward risks, insights and opportunities.
  • Creates an environment for experimentation and coach/mentor PMs to frame opportunities and validate solutions.
  • Communicates value delivered.
  • Enjoys working with people with a diverse range of skills, prioritising customer problems and opportunities.
  • Seeks out opportunities for experimentation, and positively engages in feedback, learning, change, and improvement.
  • Recognises wider priorities in how they approach their work.
