Job summary

Ofgem is working to build a fairer, more resilient energy system, shaping how Britain’s electricity networks invest and deliver for the future. We’re looking for a PMO Manager to join us and help drive one of our most important regulatory programmes forward.

Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers, especially vulnerable people.

We’re offering a permanent role with the chance to contribute to ED3, a critical programme shaping the next Electricity Distribution Price Control. You’ll become part of a high-profile area of our work, where effective programme delivery will help ensure our ambitions for Britain’s electricity networks become a reality. With exposure to senior stakeholders and activity spanning the wider programme, you’ll gain a broad perspective on work that is vital to the future of network regulation.

You’ll join a friendly and supportive environment where collaboration is central to delivering this complex programme successfully. You'll support programme governance, reporting, planning and stakeholder coordination activities across multiple ED3 workstreams. Working alongside colleagues across programme delivery, policy and analysis, you’ll help create the clarity, consistency and confidence needed to keep ED3 moving forward, while contributing to an environment focused on high standards and continuous improvement.

Job description

We’re looking for someone with experience supporting large, complex or high-profile programmes, alongside a strong understanding of governance, reporting and RAID management. You’ll be highly organised and confident working across multiple priorities, with the communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills to present information clearly and support effective delivery.

In return, you’ll join an inclusive organisation and contribute to a nationally significant programme with real visibility across Ofgem. Alongside flexible working, an excellent pension and generous annual leave, you’ll work within a welcoming and supportive team while building relationships with senior colleagues and contributing to a programme with long-term importance.

We have a critical purpose to ensure Britain’s energy networks deliver effectively for consumers and support the transition to Net Zero. Join us and help drive ED3 forward, shape the future of price controls and contribute to an energy system ready for the challenges ahead.
