Job description
The Joint CT Prison and Probation Hub (JCTPPH) or ‘the Hub’ was launched in 2021. It is a tri-agency unit comprised of subject matter experts from HMPPS and National Security partners. We operate where no other team can; we leverage the collective expertise, intelligence, and tactical understanding uniquely available to our multi-agency team. We do this to support our partners to manage and reduce terrorist risk and threat in the Prison and Probation sector.
All analysts are allocated distinct thematic responsibility and support nominal management. HMPPS CT Intelligence analysts form part of a team working with National Security partners.
Due to the nature of the unit’s work, regular physical attendance at our main office in London, to access sensitive IT systems. For short-term periods, this may extend up to 5 days per week. If you apply for this job, you should be willing to work from an office in this way.
The JCTPPH prides itself on being a flexible employer. Where it is possible, staff may be able to work flexibly, including from home or from another HMPPS locations, these may bring post-holders in-scope for Dual Workplace posting arrangements, which have potential personal financial/taxation implications in some circumstances. Post-holders must be willing to accept such posting arrangements before accepting the post.
Post holders will be based at the Counter Terrorism Operations Centre (CTOC) West Brompton, London SW6 1TR. They may be administratively contracted to 102 Petty France, Westminster, London SW1H 9AJ.
