Job summary
Covering South West England and West Wales, we are currently recruiting for a Dairy Farm Liaison Manager on a fixed-term contract until September 2027. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the flexibility to travel.
This role is funded by the UK Dairy Carbon Network (UK-DCN) project, which is testing multiple greenhouse-gas-reducing measures on commercial British dairy farms across the UK. The role has responsibility for collecting and monitoring data for specific regional farms, building trusting relationships with participating farmers and research partners and helping to facilitate the successful delivery of the programme.
We are looking for an engaging and motivated individual with specialist knowledge in the dairy sector to work with and facilitate groups of farmers and industry representatives. Further knowledge of mitigation strategies for greenhouse gas emissions is also required.
About AHDB
We are the independent, impartial public body that unlocks success in British agriculture. Funded by a levy from over 100,000 British producers in the beef, lamb, pork, dairy and cereals sectors, we support and champion farmers, growers and processors, often where no one else can or will.
We share the expert, evidence-based research and reports that inform on-farm decision making. We promote British produce to the UK public through domestic marketing campaigns, and we identify and open new global export opportunities to help farm businesses grow.
We help levy payers learn more, sell more and export more to remain sustainable and profitable. Together, we deliver the insights, the influence and the impact that farmers need.

- Practical experience developing knowledge exchange activities
- Proficiency in delivering technical information to a range of stakeholders would also be an advantage
- Full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout South West England and West Wales
